There are many words used to describe garments that are not brand new.
We went to The Merriam-Webster Dictionary for definitions of some popular words in fashion.
Upcycled: To create an object of greater value from (a discarded object of lesser value)
Recycled: To make ready for reuse.
Repurposed: To give a new purpose to or use to.
Retooled: To make especially minor changes or improvements.
Reworked: To reprocess something, such as used material, for further use.
